Su Jok Treatment for Heart Dis-eases

IF YOU HAVE A HEART PROBLEM

Pains in the heart region are one of the most serious and frequent complains though the heart diseases. They are not always connected with caused by neurosis (in overstrain and stress), by spinal osteochondrosis, lung diseases and other illnesses. You should also bear in mind that the pains in the heart area can be caused by abuse of alcohol and smoking

Where the points are to help in cardiac pains?
These are the points corresponding to the heart. In the Symmetry line Symmetry line Diaphragm In the standard correspondence system to the body on the hand, the projection of the heart is on the both sides the left of the lower half of the symmetry line. In the systems, the heart correspondence area is located on finger’s middle phalanx. Slightly below its centre (Fig. 96)

How can we help ourselves if we have pains in heart region?
First of all, it is necessary to find the heart correspondence area and thoroughly massage it for 3 to 5 minutes with fingers or any kind of massager: a diagnostic stick, blunt end of a pen, pencil, key, etc. (Fig. 9). Remember that the massage should be painful! It’s best to be performed as interrupted pressing.

Fig. 97. Massage of heart correspondence areas in heart pains: A — with the second and third fingers; B — with a diagnostic stick
After the pain decreases, be sure to warm up the heart correspondence area with a wormwood cigar or moxas. In men, warming should be done with an odd number of moxas and in women with an even number of moxas. Warming the heart correspondence points with threadlike moxas in minisystems of correspondence on the fingers’ nail phalanges will be especially effective (Fig. 98)

And then use surface applicators for prolonged stimulation: fix metal or magnet stars in the heart correspondence points, if such applicators are not available, you can use T4ike (with a stem) buttons, beads, etc. (Fig. 99)

Fig. 99. Stimulation of heart correspondence areas with the left 2nd and 3rd
Fig. 98. Warming the heart correspondence area with moxas in the minisystems
If you have pumpkin, guelder rose, vegetable marrow or cucumber seeds, look at them carefully: may be some associations will come to your mind. Of course, you’ve noticed that the shape of these seeds resembles a heart or a drop of blood. That’s why their application is especially effective in therapy of cardiovascular diseases. Pumpkin and vegetable marrow seeds are very convenient to use in the hand standard correspondence system as their size corresponds to the heart projection size, while the guelder rose and cucumber seeds are used in the insect systems (Fig. 100).

Fig. I00. Seed therapy in Cardiac pains
Seeds of beet, buckwheat, dog-rose, garden radish and hawthorn fruits can be used in the heart region pains. You can as well cover the whole correspondence area with them. Having fixed the seeds in the correspondence points, you should periodically press on them causing a painful sensation.

If you are sure that the cardiac pains are provoked by an angina attack, you can apply a little mustard plaster to the heart correspondence area in addition to the above mentioned methods of therapy (Fig. 101) The rules of mustard plaster application in the correspondence systems are the same as for the application to the body, till the burning sensation and skin reddening appear. You can also use a piece of capsicum plaster.

You should always remember, however, that a patient with pain in the heart area must be examined by a doctor and need a careful observation and nursing both at the moment of attack a_ after it.

Be Your Own Doctor !

Due to the oneness of their origin quite different objects possess common factors. The Homo force requires preserving of the similarity between all units of existence. Based on this similarity maintain by Homo force a and controlled by Neutro force, the existing world is integrated into a unified, consistent system of oneness, all elements of which are interconnected with one another and interact in order to ensure their own existence and preserve evolution. All kinds of Connections, interactions, successions and development are controlled by the Neutro force.

Each part of the human body is connected with its other parts and possesses their correspondences; as a result, an integral system of the body is created based on the similarity of Homo factors. It is these connections and interactions that finally ensure the process of existence termed life.

A network of correspondence systems permeates through our body connecting all parts of the body for their interaction, existence and further development. These systems sustain our life providing any affected part or region of our body with their harmonizing influence. The state gets normalized in a natural way, through stimulation of various regions of the body in the process of everyday activities.

Since we know the structure of a correspondence system, it is enough to stimulate a correctly selected point to obtain a pronounced therapeutic effect. The hands and feet ideally follow the law of oneness in their development. Their similarity to the body is so evident that everyone can easily notice and recognize it. And having recognized this fact, one can immediately start using this similarity for self- help and one’s health in good condition even without special medical skills or training.

Knowing correspondence system of the hands and feet we have a chance to help your people and ourselves. Each of us has four little clinics given by Nature, that is, two hands and two feet. Just think, isn’t it convenient’? When first symptoms of disease occur all we have to do is to Visit of your own four wonderful clinics and help ourselves. That is what BE YOUR OWN DOCTOR means!

Health By Chocolate ?

Health by Chocolate
Thursday, October 11, 2007

Tara Gidus, MS, RD, CSSD, LD/N If you are a chocolate lover like me, I am sure you have heard the news about chocolate being good for you. Is it true or is this just another one of those foods that is good for us one day only to be found bad for us another day?
Chocolate comes from the seeds of the fruit of the Theobromo cacao tree. These seeds are rich in phytochemicals, specifically the flavanols.

Potential health benefits Chocolate research has picked up for the past 20 years, and some of the findings are as follows:
  • May reduce blood pressure in people who are hypertensive
  • May improve insulin sensitivity in healthy adults
  • May improve endothelial function, which affects blood flow in the heart.
  • May decrease LDL cholesterol levels
  • Contains potent antioxidants which protect against cell damage
  • May increase blood flow to the skin and brain
  • Chocolate milk may help you recover from exercise better than a sports drink
  • As you can see the list is long, and as you can also see, the word potential is key. Don't expect chocolate to fix all of your ailments, but if it isn't as bad as we thought and may even be good? Excellent!

How much chocolate is healthy?
There is not a recommended level established for flavanols, and that seems to be the compound in chocolate that provides the potential health benefits. Some of the research with the results listed above was done on as little as 30 calories of dark chocolate daily. That is about the amount of one dark chocolate Hershey Kiss.

Is dark better than milk or white chocolate?
This is the most common question I get asked regarding chocolate. White chocolate contains no cocoa solids. Since the flavanols are in the cocoa, it makes sense that the darker the chocolate, the more cocoa it contains and therefore the more flavanols. However, processing can strip the flavanols very quickly. For the antioxidant activity content of various chocolates (and other foods), click here. When you see the percentages on chocolate labels, it is referring to the cocoa solids it contains. The higher the number, the darker the chocolate and also the less sugar it contains.M&M Mars uses a process called Cocoapro to process their cocoa for some of their products that the company claims maintains the flavanol content. They only use Cocoapro in CocoaVia and Dove chocolate, not in all of their products.Hershey's now is labeling the flavanol content on a few of it's products. Thank you! They also have some new milk chocolate products with higher antioxidant content for people who do not like the dark chocolate.

Isn’t chocolate fattening?
Chocolate does contain sugar and fat, which push the calorie content high. As with any food, you need to balance your intake of calories with your expenditure. One of the predominant fats in chocolate is saturated fat, but much of that is stearic acid, which does not raise cholesterol levels.

The Many Benefits of Breakfast

The Many Benefits of Breakfast

The right breakfast foods can help you concentrate, give you strength – even help you maintain a healthy weight.

By Kathleen Zelman, MPH, RD/LD

WebMD Weight Loss Clinic - Feature

Reviewed By Louise Chang, MD

Your mother was right: Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. Not only does it give you energy to start a new day, but breakfast is linked to many health benefits, including weight control and improved performance.

Studies show that eating a healthy breakfast (as opposed to the kind containing doughnuts) can help give you:

  • A more nutritionally complete diet, higher in nutrients, vitamins and minerals
  • Improved concentration and performance in the classroom or the boardroom
  • More strength and endurance to engage in physical activity
  • Lower cholesterol levels

Eating breakfast is important for everyone, but is especially so for children and adolescents. According to the American Dietetic Association, children who eat breakfast perform better in the classroom and on the playground, with better concentration, problem-solving skills, and eye-hand coordination.

Breakfast Benefit: Weight Control

Many studies, in both adults and children, have shown that breakfast eaters tend to weigh less than breakfast skippers.

Why? One theory suggests that eating a healthy breakfast can reduce hunger throughout the day, and help people make better food choices at other meals. While it might seem you could save calories by skipping breakfast, this is not an effective strategy. Typically, hunger gets the best of breakfast-skippers, and they eat more at lunch and throughout the day.

Another theory behind the breakfast-weight control link implies that eating breakfast is part of a healthy lifestyle that includes making wise food choices and balancing calories with exercise. For example, consider the successful losers followed by the National Weight Control Registry, all of whom have lost at least 30 pounds and kept it off at least one year. Some 80% of the people in the Registry regularly eat breakfast (and also follow a calorie-controlled, low-fat diet).

It's worth noting that most studies linking breakfast to weight control loss looked at a healthy breakfast containing protein and/or whole grains -- not meals loaded with fat and calories.

Make Lean Protein Part of Your Breakfast

Adding a little lean protein to your breakfast may be just the boost you need to help keep you feeling full until lunchtime.

"Protein blunts your hunger the most, and is the most satiating," Purdue University researcher Wayne Campbell, PhD, tells WebMD.

And a traditional breakfast of eggs may be one of the best ways to get your morning protein. While eggs are not always associated with weight loss, they contain some of the highest-quality protein.

In a study presented at the 2007 Experimental Biology meeting, researchers at Pennington Biomedical Research Center compared weight loss in women who ate either two eggs or a bagel for breakfast. The two breakfast meals were identical in calories and volume.

"Compared to the bagel eaters, overweight women who ate two eggs for breakfast five times a week for eight weeks as part of a low-fat, reduced-calorie diet, lost 65% more weight, reduced waist circumference by 83%, reported higher energy levels, and had no significant difference in their … blood cholesterol or triglyceride levels," reports researcher Nikhil V. Dhurandhar, PhD.

Another study, reported in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition, also substantiates eggs' ability to satisfy hunger.

"Both these studies show that when people eat eggs at breakfast, they felt more satisfied and consumed fewer calories throughout the day, compared to those who ate a primarily carbohydrate meal like a bagel," explains Dhurandhar.

But what about the cholesterol in eggs? A large egg contains 75 calories, 6 grams of protein, and 212 mg cholesterol. According to the American Heart Association (AHA), healthy people can eat an egg a day.

"It should be noted in our study that none of the women had increases in blood lipids, confirming that healthy adults on a low-fat diet can enjoy eggs without significantly impacting their risk of heart disease," says Dhundar.

Another study, reported in Obesity Research, found that women who added a little lean protein to their breakfast (in the form of a slice of Canadian bacon added to an egg sandwich made with an English muffin) felt less hunger during the next four hours than those who ate a breakfast without protein.

All the participants lost about 18 pounds over the course of the study, but the group eating more protein – about 30% of total calories – kept more lean muscle than the group who ate the same number of calories but less protein.

Experts note that lean muscle mass is more metabolically active, and thus helps with weight management.

Breakfast Cereal and Weight Control

Many studies have also shown that when breakfast cereal is consumed as part of an overall healthful lifestyle, it can play a role in maintaining a healthy body weight.

A Harvard study of more than 17,000 men found that those who frequently ate breakfast cereal -- both refined grain and whole-grain types -- consistently weighed less than those who rarely or never ate breakfast cereal.

Another study, published in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association, evaluated the diets of adults and found that breakfasts of ready-to-eat cereal were associated with lower BMIs in women than other, higher-fat breakfast meals.

Choosing the Right Breakfast Foods

This just goes to show how important it is to choose the right foods for breakfast. A healthy breakfast meal should contain a variety of foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low- or non-fat dairy, and lean protein.

Even if you think you don't have time to eat breakfast, there are grab-and-go options that fill the bill. Some quick and healthy choices include:

  • A veggie omelet and a piece of whole-wheat toast
  • A whole-wheat English muffin with low-fat cheese, a scrambled egg, and slice of tomato or lean ham
  • Smoothie made with fruit and low-fat yogurt
  • Salmon on 1/2 whole-grain bagel with light cream cheese
  • Whole-grain cereal with fresh fruit and low-fat milk
  • Oatmeal made with skim milk, raisins and nuts, with 4 ounces of orange juice
  • Low-fat yogurt and a piece of fresh fruit
  • Yogurt smoothie and breakfast bar
  • Hard-boiled egg and a banana

Human Organ Transplantation Ordinance

Those involved in unethical practices have strong political backing
Public sector health care facilities to emerge as leaders in organ transplantation claims
Federal Health Minister

NIH at Islamabad to have central registry where details of all transplants done in Pakistan will be recorded
Human Organ Transplantation Ordinance has offered a lot but there is still room for improvement- Prof. Adeebul Hassan Rizvi

KARACHI: After the promulgation of the Human Organ Transplantation Ordinance 2007, sale and purchase of human organs the kidneys in particular will come to an end and public healthcare facilities will emerge as leaders in transplantation. This was stated by Federal Health Minister Mr. Naseer Mohammad Khan while addressing a press conference at NICVD campus on September 6th 2007. Federal Health Secretary was also present on this occasion. He also disclosed that a central registry is being established at National Institute of Health in Islamabad which will record the details of transplants being performed at different centers all over Pakistan. These centers will pass on the relevant information to this central registry within twenty four hours, he added.

The federal government will inspect and accredit all those healthcare facilities where transplantation will be permitted to ensure that they have the requisite trained manpower, surgical expertise and other facilities. From now onward only these designated health centers will be able to perform transplants. Those found involved in Kidney and other organ trade will get severe punishment including fine and imprisonment as mentioned in the said Ordinance, which has become effective with immediate effect. All these details are also being passed on to the Embassies so that those coming from overseas for transplants are fully aware of it. Pakistan had become an Organ Bazar and it was bringing lot of bad name to the country. We want to ensure that only ethical transplantation activities are permitted and transplantation tourism which promotes commercialization in this field is effectively checked. In the past the vested interested and agents have been depriving poor people of their kidneys and later on these donors were left at their own. Some members of the medical profession and hospitals were also involved in this unethical practice. Under the Ordinance the government will provide facilities for the welfare of the donors, provide them medical care and other facilities. Evaluation committee at each transplant center will select the donors carefully to make sure that there is no commercial transaction between the donor and recipients. Blood relations and those from the family will be preferred as donors. Donor banks are planned to be established.

Different committees including the monitoring and evaluation committee will be constituted at the federal and provincial level besides constitution of evaluation committees at the transplant centers which will have their own Ethics Committees. Hopefully all this will be accomplished in the next couple of weeks, he added. Under the new circumstances, kidney transplants in the private sector are likely to reduce significantly while it may pick up later when more and more centers fulfill the provisions laid down in the Ordinance. Efforts will be made to have more transplant centers in the public sector.

The Federal Health Minister’s attention was also drawn towards the fact that no action was being taken against the members of the medical profession involved in unethical medical practice and pharmaceutical companies involved in unethical marketing practices. At this he responded by saying that unfortunately all these doctors who indulge in unethical practices have very powerful political backing and at times it becomes very difficult to take any action against them. Same is true as regards the pharmaceutical companies but promised that the Federal Health Ministry was monitoring the situation and suitable measures will be taken. The Minister was reminded that whether it is the sale and purchase of kidneys related to Human Organ Transplantation, functioning of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, Recognition of private medical and dental colleges or supply of substandard drugs to PIMS at Islamabad, all these issues were first taken up by the Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan who issued directives on which the Federal Health Ministry had to act. Why the FHM does not take up these issues on its own? The Human Organ Transplantation Ordinance has been lying with the Senate for almost over ten years and even the present assembly is completing its term of five years but it never took up this issue. The government acted only when the chief justice gave the government a month’s notice which was to expire on September 3rd that the President issued the Ordinance on the last day. The Federal Health Minister could not come up with a satisfactory answer but hastened to add that the Senate has discussed it, later the Select Committee on Health in the National Assembly also approved it, it was passed by the cabinet and all this did take some time. When asked what will happen after four months when the Ordinance will relapse or will the National Assembly where this Ordinance has already been tabled, approve it in its next sitting, he did not give any assurance but added that efforts will be made to include this in the next session of the National Assembly agenda.

Prof. Adeebul Hasan Rizvi Director SIUT also joined in at the last minute. Replying to the various questions regarding Human Organ Transplantation Ordinance 2007, he remarked that the Ordinance has given us a lot and we must welcome it. However, he hastened to add that there is still lot of room for improvement. He hoped that continuous pressure by public, civil society in general and media in particular augers well for its implementation. I am very hopeful that the government will ensure implementation of the relevant provisions of the Ordinance in its letter and spirit. At the SIUT which only perform kidney transplants with live related donor kidneys, hundreds of people also get dialysis facilities absolutely free daily. That is why only a few people go to private hospitals for dialysis. If facilities in the public sector are improved and expanded keeping in view the disease burden, not many will go to the private hospitals, Prof.Adeeb Rizvi remarked. It is only when the public sector health care facilities are not enough, patients are forced to avail the facilities at the private hospitals, he added.

Preventive measures to reduce the disease burden of kidney diseases like use of healthy diet, reduction in weight, taking care of obesity, controlling diseases like diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure etc., which give rise to acute renal failure and end stage renal failure were also highlighted. Media was asked to play its role in educating the masses regarding preventive measures.

It may be mentioned here that the original draft of the Human Organ and Tissues Transplantation Ordinance 2007 had many lacunas and it was felt that this will in fact legalize the sale and purchase of human organs instead of checking this. Later the draft was amended to remove the objections raised by the transplant surgeons, members of the National Bioethics Committee and other members of the Civil Society.

Think Again when you drink Cold water ?

Please be a true friend and send this article to all your friends you care about.

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down
the digestion. Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is
best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal. A serious note about heart attacks - You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.

You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive.

Learn to Treat Yourself without Medicine

What is SU JOK?

Su = hand and Jok = foot. Korean words relating to a Therapy that employs hands and feet as treatment areas for the whole body.

Professor Park, Jae Woo is a Korean scientist and philosopher. He is the originator of Su Jok Therapy. Through his scientific works he has developed a number of simple and effective systems of treatment, which have gained wide acceptance all over the world among practitioners and lay people alike, He has great perception and is able to explain oriental wisdom in terms of modern science and Is a visionary par excellence.

On our hands and feet we host correspondence systems. The systems are highly active points connected to every area of the body through correspondence positioned below the surface of the skin. When these globules are stimulated energy waves are passed to the corresponding organ and to the brain, do not be misled, this therapy does not parallel reflexology apart from using the hands and feet as maps of the body. Correspondence areas and treatment is carried out in a very different manner, utilizing a variety of effective correction techniques.

If you look at the hand, it bears an uncanny resemblance to the structure of the body. Take first the thumb, it has two phalanges and resembles the head and neck. If the thumb had been placed at the centre of the wrist, it would be blatantly obvious that the hand is unmistakably an exact replica of the body. However, Prof. Park, Jae Woo’s intuition showed him, without doubt, that even with the thumb positioned off centre it is head, palm is trunk and fingers are appendages - arms and legs.

The top part of the thumb, palm side (yin), is face and positioned below the nail plate on the yang side is the brain. Under the first joint is the neck; on the yin surface is the location of the throat and on the yang surface the cervical vertebrae.

Now flex your thumb and notice the shape beneath, which resembles the thorax. This area is the correspondence area for the lungs, with the heart positioned between the lungs, slightly off centre to the left, with the apex sifting on the life-line crease; this crease indicates the line of the upper diaphragm.

And so we are able to continue through the body, with exact mirror images of all organs, body systems and appendages mapped onto the hands and feet.
To carry out effective treatment, the therapist first carries out a consultation with the client to ascertain the nature of the problems presenting which will enable the therapist to make a treatment plan.

Accurate Identification of the point to be treated is only halfway to successful treatment. For treatment to be effective, one must stimulate the point correctly. This is achieved in different ways.

TREAT BRONCHIAL ASTHMA SU JOK THERAPY

BRONCHIAL ASTHMA

Bronchial asthma is an allergic disease, which appears as recurrent bouts of asphyxia.

Dry and tormenting cough is in most cases the first portent of the coming bout of bronchial asthma. Attacks of asphyxia begin all of a sudden and rapidly aggravate; they last from several minutes to several hours or even days (in complicated cases).

During the attack an asthmatic cannot move freely but usually has to remain standing or sitting with his hands resting on the table. He experiences hurried whizzing breathing, with inhalation much shorter than exhalation.

In slight attacks of bronchial asthma the patients normally do not call ambulance but use special drugs intended to terminate the bouts.

An urgent medical consultation is a must in case of the first attack of bronchial asthma. If the patient is suffering from a protracted, several hour or several day long asthma bout that can not be cured by ordinary methods (such state is termed asthmatic status), an ambulance should be urgently called, as his life is definite]y endangered. Intensive therapy in a hospital is then essential.

First aid administration by the Su Jok therapy methods in bronchial asthma involves linear massage in the standard hand or foot correspondence system with a finger or any massage tool or whatever else handy. The projection of the respiratory tract should be stimulated from the area of correspondence to the lungs to that of the nose, which will promote better sputum discharge (Fig. 103). Since the diaphragm takes part in respiration, the area of correspondence to the entire upper diaphragm line needs massage as well. There is a point near the base of the first metacarpal bone that corresponds the upper diaphragm line and whose stimulation is especially helpful (Fig. 104). In many cases the bronchial asthma bouts are completely done away by means of these manipulations very simple indeed.

Warming of the most painful points of correspondence to the lungs in the standard hand correspondence system will widen the air supply routes and facilitate sputum discharge (Fig 105). But if the patient is intolerant of the wormwood smell and smoke, such procedure should be avoided. It is advisable instead to attach <warming> seeds (of pepper, red currant, and hedge rose. grape) or pieces of pepper plaster to the painful points of correspondence to the bronchial tree. After that any type of surface stimulator's available should be attached to the points of correspondence to the lungs and upper respiratory tracts, which will reduce dyspnea.

The seeds are attached in the most sensitive points of correspondence to the lungs. The relevant areas should be completely covered with the seeds. With knowledge of energy flow direction in seeds and other parts of plants, it is possible to place the seeds in the areas of correspondence to the lungs along the line that leads from the diaphragm projection to the correspondence to the trachea (Fig. 106, 107). In this case green seeds are the best — those of peas, hemp, lentil, apples, and pears. If seeds are unavailable, metal or magnet stars are employed. It should be remembered that the desired effect will be only produced if the seeds are pressed from time to time.

Stimulation of the points of correspondence to the adrenal glands is an essential element of the first aid in grave bouts of bronchial asthma because it facilitates the secretion of corticosteroids. It is carried out by means of finger massage involving rhythmical pressing movements; alternatively, makeshift tools may be used (Fig. 108). For longer stimulation, magnet stars attached to the areas of correspondence to the adrenal glands

First aid administration by the Su Jok therapy method helps arrest slight fits of bronchial asthma and prevents their transformation into grave bouts.

Su Jok Colour Therapy

COLOUR THERAPY

For centuries it's been known that colours can dramatically affect our health, inner harmony and even our emotions. With the help of colour the medical effect can be got which the conventional West medicine cannot receive with traditional approaches.

Colour is a living energy. It is a property of light. Light is an electromagnetic energy produced by the sun in different wavelengths. As the light is absorbed and reflected we end up with different colours. Everything in nature is full of colour. Vibration forms everything in life. The universe is only the energy in vibration. Our body has energy fields (called charkas). All of our organs are comprised of vibrating atoms. All of us have our own unique energy system and our organs have different vibrational patterns. We all emit colour.
Light has different particles called photons and microwaves. Light penetrates everything, even our bodies. Light also emits wavelengths that we cannot see (ultraviolet). These wavelengths contain radiation, which is energy. Energy is Qi and life. Now it is revealed that the length of a wave defines its colour. In our environment there is an enormous quantity of waves with different frequency characteristics.
Moreover, concrete frequency and colour corresponds to each organ. Having the electromagnetic nature the colour cooperates with the energetic structures of a human body, strengthening or suppressing their vibrations. Significant changes in energy structure of the person invariable entail changes at a physical level.

HOW DOES COLOUR THERAPY WORK?

The method of colour therapy is based on the law of resonant colours interaction, conterminous to frequency characteristics of body. There is a resonant interaction of zones of hands and feet (chakras energy points, acupuncture points of meridians and waves surrounding them) to similar frequency of a colour source (artificial or natural). The set of frequencies related to musical notes is an example how colours works. If you place two properly tuned guitars in the same room and pluck the A string on one guitar, the A string on the second guitar will also ring. This is because the sound frequency of the A note traveled across the room causing the resonant frequency of the A string on the second guitar to sound. Likewise, the body's organs have their own resonant frequencies related to the charkas and meridians. Hence, we can "tune " our bodies for optimal wellness through colour therapy by exposing our chakras and meridians to the specific colour needed. The light beam is as language of the organism cells which communicate with each other, and they do so via photons and microwaves. The colour scale promotes restoration of the energy balance broken by illness. Different colours give off different wavelength frequencies and these different frequencies have different effects on physical and psychological functions and consequently different disorders.
Coloured light can be used directly on the body's health and immuno strength, affecting the body and the emotions. It does not alter the material make up of the body, but rather the vibrational aspect, similar to homeopathy.
The treatment itself involves the application of coloured light to the acupuncture points on the skin with an instrument that resembles a simple pen light. It does not use needles or pierce the skin. Rather the colour sensitivity of acupuncture receptors on the skin is used to absorb the coloured light. Acupuncture meridians then channel healing information encoded in the light to targeted cells and the brain where it is needed.

On yogas' representation, every chakra depending on frequency of vibrations prevailing in it has own colour. The aura of the healthy person has pure colours. The mechanism of many illnesses is caused by infringement of colour (electromagnetic) harmony, mixture of colours, and also deficiency of the certain colour necessary for normal activity of the organs and mind-emotional condition of the person.

  • RED stimulates brain wave activity, increases heart rate, respirations and blood pressure, excites sexual glands. It energizes the first chakra (coccyx). It warms us and awakens us physically and energizes our blood. It is a good colour to wear when we have colds and poor circulation. Too much red can over stimulate and make some illnesses worse. High blood pressure is an indicator of too much red energy in the body. It is a colour for war, prosperity, fire, and rising sun. Spiritually it is the root colour of fire and connects us to our physical self.
  • ORANGE is the colour of joy and wisdom। It affects the second chakra (sacral). It gives an energy, stimulates appetite and it is a good colour for illnesses of the colon and digestion. Spiritually it is the colour of joy. It connects us to our emotional self.
  • YELLOW is the solar plexus chakra. It energizes, relieves depression, improves memory, stimulates appetite and helps in digestive problems. Spiritually it is the colour of wisdom and connects us to our mental self.
  • GREEN affects the heart chakra. It has a calming effect and balances the nervous system. Green colour is soothing, relaxing mentally as well as physically, helps those suffering from depression, anxiety, nervousness. It is a good colour for cardiac conditions, high blood pressure and ulcers. Since green stimulates growth, it should be avoided in cancers and other tumors. Spiritually it is the colour of love and connects us to perfect love.
  • BLUE is the colour for the throat chakra. It is a good colour in respiratory illness or throat infections. Blue is calming and cooling to our system and hence, a good colour to counteract hypertension. Spiritually it is the colour of health and connects us to holistic thought.
  • INDIGO is the colour for healing of the brow chakra. It is a good colour for sinusitis, immunity problems, and all face problems. Too much of this colour can cause depression. Spiritually it is the colour of intuition and connects us to our unconscious self.
  • VIOLET is the colour of the crown chakra. It is cleansing, strengthening, and awakening, suppresses appetite, provides a peaceful environment. It affects the skeletal system of the body. It is a good colour for improving immunity, cancerous conditions, and arthritis. It also purifies the system and is an excellent colour for headaches and migrains. Spiritually it is the colour of faith and connects us to our spiritual self.

    TREATMENT WITH COLOUR.

You can practice some exercises to heal your chakras.

    * Balancing the chakras. Take 7 clothes of different colours: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Put violet cloth on the crown chakra. Place the rest clothes over your body at the appropriate chakra. Relax, and breathe deeply for 5 minutes. The body will absorb these colours and saturate the charkas, in that way the vibrations in your body will be balanced.

    * With a deep breathing imagine that you breathe air into every part, every organ of your body.

This air is transformed then into different frequencies of energy. Inhale slowly though your nostrils and exhale through the mouth. Inhale and exhale to the count of 5. Place the tip of the tongue to the palate of the mouth during breathing. See and feel the air coming in at a certain colour. This exercise can be done for 10 minutes in the morning.

    * This exercise is used when you feel that some basic colour needs stimulating. Water can be infused with the colour by placing water in coloured glasses and exposing the water for 3 hours to sunlight. The next day drink the water. Water can be also placed in the glass with the coloured paper over it and being exposed to the sunlight for 3 hours.

Colour therapy is a prolonged method of stimulation. This method of healing is carried out with the help of:

  • felt-tip pens,
  • markers,
  • colour varnishes,
  • colour pencils.

Treatment by colour can be performed on finger meridians, on chakras, painting the certain points by the certain colour following the laws of colours interaction (and consequently, energies) and thus changing the energy potential (balance) both in the point, and in all meridian, and, hence, in organ.

Where the points are located that help to constipation?

This is the large intestine correspondence area (Fig 121)

How to do away with constipation?

First of all, find the tender correspondence point in the large intestine projection and thoroughly massage them with a diagnostic stick. Then perform finger massage of the whole large intestine correspondence area in the form of circular motions in the direction coinciding with the bowel movement (Fig 122)

You can also use seeds. Fix them in the 1arge intestine correspondence area in such a way that their energy flow coincides with the bowel movement.

What seeds should be selected for the therapy?

Flax, caraway, water-melon and melon seeds as well as apple and grape stones are preferable (Fig.123).

It is very important to warm up the most tender correspondence points with moxas. If you have a wormwood cigar, you can perform warming by the ironing technique: move the ignited cigar over the large intestine projection until the pleasant warmth appears (Fig. 124).
